Noticeable inactivity by the author.

Good evening.

This blog haven’t gotten that much attention after I started blogging, the reason is fairly simple – I haven’t had got time to do some remarkable posts here yet due to school and other priorities like learning C++. I am, however, considering to ditch this site and make one by my own design. I kinda dig the idea of having something with your own signature on it.

However, this won’t happen in a while, I think. I’ve just started to learn C++, school is hanging over me, aswell as work, so I’ll just have to cope with it for now.

 

It’s all about prioritizing, isn’t it.

Slipknot coming to Norway!

Yesterday I was sneaking around at Slipknot’s Homepage, and found out that they have Norway on the Tour Schedule for 2008 concerts. They will be arriving at Oslo Spektrum, in company with Children of Bodom and Machine Head, the 10th of November 2008.

These are some of my favourite bands when it comes to Metal & Death Metal, so I’m looking forward to it! However, I am a bit nervous/curious if there’s going to be an age limit to the event, but Spektrum isn’t known for having age restricted events, but I guess I’ll figure that out in time for the consert.

I will announce the ticket sale as soon as I get an ETA on it.

Sensation White is closing in…

Well we all know that Sensation White – Amsterdam is nearing, and thus I am not going due to the 18 year of age restriction limit, I thought I’d put up the line-up for this years happening in Amsterdam (Amsterdam Arena, 05. July, 21.00PM)

There will also be a Megamix in between either of these, presented by Samsung Mobile.

The venue doors opens at 21.00 hours, and the show starts at 23.00 hours. If YOU are going to Sensation White 2008, make sure you don’t miss the opening show!

First review; The Bucket List

The review:
I had very high expectations for this movie. I mean, who wouldn’t have, for a movie with their two favourite actors. As you might understand, Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman are some of mine. I have seen lots of movies and roles played by them, but I got to admit, this one was far different from what I’ve seen before. The sensitivity, the joy, and the happiness this movie delivers, is above expectations.
The main plot is about two fairly aged men, who has been afflicted by cancer. One of them owns the hospital, and have built it from nothing, to one of the greatest hospitals in the city. The other is a simple car mechanic who has just enough money to take care of his family and himself. You can see the difference, right? This is actually something that takes the saying “Kids alike plays the best” (or as we say it in Norwegian “Like barn leker best”), at a test. They have two very different personalitys and they see life from each perspective.
Anyways, they decide to use their last few months of their life on something they’ve always dreamed of, it’s here The Bucket List enters the movie. They write a list with to-do’s before they die, and as Edward Cole (Jack Nicholson) has the money to do it, Carter Chambers (Morgan Freeman) has the spirit.

And off they go, into the joy and happiness life has to offer, before their end of line closes in..

Rating 1-10: I’ll give it a fairly good 8.
